Transforming Education: Mriia for Ukrainian Schools
In 2025, the Mriia educational system will incorporate 2,000 educational institutions from various regions of Ukraine. This will be a significant step towards enhancing the learning process for students, parents, and teachers.
The pilot project of Mriia began in September 2024 in six regions, including frontline cities and remote villages. We tested the system's functionality and refined it. Now it is available for all schools across the country.
Mriia allows teachers to automate their processes: from lesson planning to creating schedules, grading, and communicating with students and parents through secure chats.
Soon, teachers will also be able to generate tests using AI, receive completed homework, and create inter-class groups.
For students, Mriia offers easy access to schedules, homework, a personalized content library, and the ability to track their progress through their smartphones. The system will also feature an internal currency—mriyky—which children can exchange for various rewards.
Parents will have a complete view of their child's achievements, monitor their progress, and soon will be able to choose extracurricular activities based on interests.
How to join Mriia
Mriia is open to every school, regardless of size or educational format. Joining is free and voluntary.
To take advantage of the educational ecosystem, schools need to apply on the Mriia website at mriia.gov.ua/app.
Currently, 150 schools are already connected to Mriia, and 1,000 new applications are being processed.
The Mriia team is also working on developing solutions for preschool institutions, which will help unify different stages of education into a single digital system.
Mriia is a state educational initiative that integrates all elements of learning, providing students, parents, and teachers access to all necessary tools for an effective educational process.
This initiative is supported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and is being implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in collaboration with the EGAP Program.
