Ukrainian Wushu Championship: New Champions from Odessa
The Ukrainian Wushu Championship took place from April 4 to 8, 2023, in Brovary, Kyiv region, featuring events for adults, juniors, and youth in the light sanda category.
Approximately 200 athletes from ten regions of Ukraine participated in the competitions.
Representing Odessa were students from the Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 1.
According to the competition results, the champions of Ukraine were Marina Yazikova, Valeria Blahodyr, Irina Mizina, and Erika-Yuliana Chen.
Alexander Oliynyk claimed the bronze medal, while Ivan Ahyeiev won silver among older juniors.
The Odessa regional team finished first in the overall ranking.
