European Chess Championship: Ukrainian Women's Team Triumph
On October 20, the European Team Chess Championship concluded in Batumi, Georgia. Among the participants of the national women's team of Ukraine was Odesa chess player Natalia Zhukova.
The women's team achieved 5 wins along with 4 draws. This performance earned them the second place, behind only the Polish team, which the Ukrainians managed to defeat.
Natalia Zhukova also received an individual award for her second place on the fourth board.
