Collaboration for Veterans: New Opportunities Ahead
The municipal institution «Veteran Hub» in Odessa and the Veterans Support Center in Mykolaiv have signed a cooperation memorandum.
This agreement allows veterans from Mykolaiv to access services in Odessa, while Odessa residents can receive support in Mykolaiv. The combined efforts will enhance veteran adaptation, broaden service offerings, and facilitate the sharing of best practices.
«We have a wonderful example of collaboration and are eager to learn from each other,» said Volodymyr Yermakov, head of the «Veteran Hub».
In turn, the first deputy mayor of Mykolaiv, Vitaliy Lukov, emphasized, «This is not just a formal relationship, but concrete steps to improve the quality of veteran services.»
It is noteworthy that this important agreement was reached at the beginning of the month when a delegation from Mykolaiv visited Odessa.
The «Veteran Hub» operates in key areas:
- legal support;
- psychological assistance;
- employment promotion and grant management;
- rehabilitation and treatment;
- information on existing programs, services, and benefits;
- organization of leisure, sports, and cultural events;
- conducting trainings, round tables, and conferences.
