2025 Motorcycle Season Kickoff in Odesa: Charity Ride

The 2025 motorcycle season was officially launched in Odesa with a charity ride. The route taken by the motorcyclists was from Kyiv to Odesa and back. Participants gathered by the Duke de Richelieu monument, as reported by a correspondent from Suspilne.

According to participant Volodymyr Musiak, the motorcycle ride supports the veteran movement and Ukraine's Defense Forces. About 60 motorcyclists participated, with new riders joining along the route.

"Currently, there are 60 motorcycles, and more riders are joining along the way. So the total count is still uncertain," Volodymyr shared.

Veteran Volodymyr Musiak, who has been serving since 2014, mentioned that the event also has a charitable aspect. This is the first ride of this format aimed at connecting Kyiv and Odesa.

"There will be fundraising as well. Auctions and charity events were held yesterday in Kyiv. We do this every year. We even have a charity fund, from which we purchase necessary supplies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine," he noted.

What sets this veteran motorcycle club apart is the inclusion of members with disabilities as a result of combat.

"We have a comrade in our club who has lost a leg. He has adapted his bike for himself. Many guys who have similar disabilities also ride," Volodymyr Musiak explained.

In Odesa, bikers anticipate the official opening of the 2025 motorcycle season, meetings with fellow clubs, and a musical program. After the Odesa segment of the event, participants will head back to Kyiv, completing the Kyiv-Odesa-Kyiv route.

The charity ride was organized by the community of "Bikers of Ukraine" and the Veterans MC Ukraine motorcycle club, with informational support from the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
