Easter Greetings from Children to Soldiers
In the lead-up to Easter, children decided to surprise the coast guard soldiers with handmade cards.
The State Border Guard Service shared photos of these touching greetings.
On the children's drawings, there are bunnies, ships, angels, candles, peaceful skies, and heartfelt messages like: “Thank you for your protection!”, “Pray for us, we are waiting for you!”, “Christ is Risen!” — the coast guard members added emotional notes alongside the children's greetings.
These cards are the greatest reward. Holding such a letter in your hands makes you feel that it's all worth it. We are loved, we are believed in, we are awaited, — said the defenders who received greetings from the little ones.
