Frontline Activity Update for April 20
On April 20, there were 96 clashes recorded, including nearly 40 attacks on the Pokrovsk direction, resulting in 1882 shellings of Defense Forces positions and civilian areas.

According to the updated information, the enemy conducted 1882 shellings, including 33 from multiple launch rocket systems and deployed 957 kamikaze drones.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attempted to breach our defenders' lines near the settlement of Krasne Pershe.
In the Kupiansk direction, there was an attack by invaders in the area of Holubivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched 12 attacks, trying to penetrate our defenses near the settlements of Nadiya, Myrne, Hrekivka, Katerynivka, Nova, and Yamplivka.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy made three attempts to advance in the area of Bilohorivka and Ivanodarivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked five times in the area of Chasiv Yar, as well as towards Stupochky and Bilyi Hora.
In the Torske direction, there were 10 attacks near Druzhba, Toretsk, and Leonidivka.
Our defenders thwarted 39 assault actions by the aggressor in the Pokrovsk direction, specifically in the areas of Sukha Balka, Myrolyubivka, Yelizavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriyivka, and Rozliv.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy carried out five attacks in the area of Kostiantynopol, Skudne, and towards Odradne.
In the Orikhiv direction, the occupation forces advanced four times on our defenders' positions in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Mali Shcherbaky, and Stepover.
No clashes occurred in the Huliaipole and Dnipro directions during the past day.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected.
In the Kursk region, the enemy conducted 184 shellings, 17 of which were from MLRS. Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 assaults by the invaders.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are inflicting significant losses on the occupying forces, actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential.
