A Unique Perspective on War in Documentary Film
At the Veterans HUB ODESA art space, a remarkable event took place - the premiere of a documentary film that captures the authentic daily life of a combat unit during their four-day deployment to the front line.
The film, titled "Patsyki", was created by author and director Boris Malyuga, focusing on the routine of the "D Company" of the 67th Airmobile Brigade near Sloviansk.
Through this film, the director aimed to depict soldiers in their true form - they interacted openly, sang songs, and recited poetry, just as they do every day.
In just 15 minutes, the film provides an unfiltered account of the war, showcasing the daily heroism of soldiers both now and for future generations.
