Fire in Odesa: Swift Action by Firefighters
Last evening, December 17, a fire broke out in an electric panel on the first floor of an apartment building in the Khadyjibei district of Odesa.
Due to heavy smoke, firefighters had to use breathing and vision protection equipment. They utilized air blowers to clear the smoke from the area.
Fortunately, no one was harmed.
The fire was caused by a short circuit due to an overload of the electric panel.
The State Emergency Service deployed 10 units of equipment and 46 firefighters to the scene.
