Navy Day Celebration: New Stamp Honoring the Corvette
On July 6, as part of the Navy Day celebrations, the unveiling of a new postage stamp dedicated to the corvette "Hetman Ivan Mazepa" took place.
This was announced by Vice Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, Commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This ship is the first in a series of high-tech Ukrainian corvettes, set to be the most powerful combat unit and flagship of the national naval fleet, as stated in the announcement.
The stamp features a modern combat ship and the emblem of the Hetman of the Zaporizhian Army. This combination symbolizes respect for the glorious history of the Navy.
