Wife of Pro-Russian Ex-MP to Face Trial for Treason
The wife of a pro-Russian ex-MP, who fled to Russia, will be tried for treason. She established an IT company in Moscow that has been developing software for the Russian military and intelligence services since 2014.
This was reported by the Odesa regional prosecutor's office.
The investigation revealed that the wife of a former Ukrainian parliament member, who left for Russia in 2014, founded a company in Moscow specializing in IT technologies. The company developed software for entities affiliated with the Russian government, the Ministry of Defense, and intelligence services. In 2023, the company implemented software for military helicopters like the Mi-26, Mi-35M, Mi-28N "Night Hunter", and Ka-52 "Alligator", which are used in the armed aggression against Ukraine.
At the request of the prosecutors, a freeze was placed on the accused's real estate. Currently, her luxury property and land in Odesa have been handed over to ARMA for management. The accused is currently wanted and will be tried in absentia.
