Odessa's Commitment to Supporting the Military
The Mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov, held a meeting with the commander of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 28th separate mechanized brigade, Vladimir Luzhetsky, and his comrades.
Odessa has already provided over 138 million hryvnias in assistance to this brigade. Currently, the soldiers are defending Ukraine in a challenging area of Donetsk. The city has received a new request for assistance from the fighters, which will be promptly addressed.
This year, the Odessa budget allocated 206 million 093 thousand hryvnias to support the Defense Forces, including 10 million for the 28th brigade. Last year, Odessa transferred nearly 1.42 billion UAH to assist the military.
The city continues to operate and support Ukrainian defenders.
