Assault on Acquaintance: Man Stabbed
An incident has been reported in Odesa where a man was stabbed by an acquaintance during a dispute.
This was reported by the local police.
The event occurred last week on 7th Peresyp Street during the evening when the two men encountered each other by chance. A drunken 42-year-old local resident began arguing with his 27-year-old acquaintance, accusing him of not returning money for a power bank. During the heated exchange, the older man stabbed the younger one in the stomach and chest before fleeing the scene.
Passersby called an ambulance for the victim. Medical staff promptly hospitalized him and notified the police. Currently, the victim is in the hospital suffering from serious injuries, including penetrating stab wounds to the abdominal wall and chest, affecting the pleural cavity.
The victim was in critical condition and unable to identify his assailant. However, police quickly tracked down the suspect with the help of a service dog that followed the scent to the perpetrator.
