A New Tribute Tradition
A new monthly tradition has been initiated in Odessa, where residents pay tribute to the memory of those who lost their lives in the war, including local citizens and residents of the region.
This ceremony reflects our respect and gratitude towards the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for Ukraine's freedom and independence.
The event, known as «Bell of Remembrance», involves reciting the names of fallen heroes and holding a prayer service in their honor.
On the last day of February, this ceremony once again united the city's residents, civic organizations, military personnel, veterans, and government representatives in a prayerful remembrance of the heroes who fell during the month.
Each toll of the bell symbolizes our steadfast memory and gratitude.
We remember. We honor. We are grateful.
