Attack on Odesa: Details and Consequences
On the evening of February 28, the armed forces of the Russian Federation launched a drone attack on Odesa, resulting in civilian casualties. The type and number of drones used are currently being assessed. The Odesa region was heavily affected. According to the prosecution, one man has lost his life in this incident.
A 41-year-old man was killed, and three others sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital. The attack caused damage to a private house, a business, a sports facility, and several vehicles.
The site is still under review, and a complete list of damages is being compiled. Prosecutors, in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the Russian aggression.
“Under the procedural guidance of the Odesa regional prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the war crimes that led to a loss of life (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Investigators from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region are conducting the investigation” – the report states.
