Ukraine's Innovations at CEATEC-2024 in Japan
The 25th anniversary exhibition of cutting-edge technologies, CEATEC-2024, took place in Chiba, Japan, marking a significant event for the tech community.
For the second consecutive year, Ukrainian companies have been presenting their technological advancements at this prestigious international event.
This year, a unified stand represented Odesa's latest developments in the IT sector.
Tamila Afanasieva, the director of the "Odesa 5T Grant Office," presented innovations from the IT Family Odesa cluster and the Faculty of Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, and Computer Science at the International Humanitarian University.
Additionally, the Odesa delegation participated in the 13th Asia Smart City Conference held in the sister city of Yokohama.
This conference brought together leading figures and innovators in urban development and technology.
During their stay in Japan, the Odesa delegation held official meetings with the mayor of Yokohama, municipal leadership, and the Ukrainian Ambassador to Japan.
They also engaged in discussions with representatives from the Yokohama municipality, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and the UN Development Programme office.
In collaboration with several Japanese tech companies, including Nippon Koei and JFE Engineering, they discussed priority infrastructure projects for Odesa.
Furthermore, talks were held with members of the Japanese National Commission for UNESCO to exchange experiences on cultural heritage preservation and restoration.
Japanese representatives expressed solidarity with the Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom and openness to cooperation with the Odesa community.
