Innovative Technologies from Ukraine at CEATEC-2024
The 25th anniversary of the CEATEC-2024 technology exhibition took place in Chiba, Japan.
This year, Ukrainian companies once again present their innovations at one of Asia's largest international events. The Odesa City Council delegation showcased a unified stand featuring impressive IT projects. The director of the "Odesa 5T Grant Office" Tamila Afanasieva presented developments from the IT Family Odesa cluster and the Department of Cybersecurity at the International Humanitarian University.
Additionally, the Odesa delegation participated in the 13th Asia Smart City Conference held in Yokohama, gathering global leaders in technological advancement. During their stay in Japan, the delegation met with the mayor of Yokohama, city council officials, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in Japan.
Furthermore, working discussions were held with representatives of the Yokohama municipality, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and the UN Development Programme office. Priority infrastructure projects for Odesa were discussed with several Japanese technology companies, including Nippon Koei and JFE Engineering. Discussions with members of the National Commission of Japan for UNESCO focused on the experiences of both Odesa and Japan in preserving and restoring cultural heritage sites.
Japanese representatives expressed solidarity with the people of Ukraine in their struggle for freedom and openness to collaboration with the Odesa community. Together, we are moving towards Victory!
