Honoring Heroes at the Heroes' Alley

Today, in Taras Shevchenko Park, new information stands honoring the memory of 144 fallen defenders of Ukraine were ceremoniously opened at Heroes' Alley.

Currently, information about 421 heroes is displayed at Heroes' Alley. The work of commemorating their memory continues.

“Each of these heroes is a piece of the immense strength that allowed Ukraine to stand firm and continue its fight for a free future. Their deeds form the foundation of our independence, and we must remember this. Thanks to their dedication, we can live, work, and build the future of our state today,” said Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.

Additionally, at the request of the relatives of the fallen, Christmas trees have been placed alongside the Alley, which children from the families of the heroes will decorate with handmade ornaments as part of the St. Nicholas Day festivities.
