Campaign Against Violence: Importance of Support

From November 25 to December 10, 2024, Ukraine hosts a significant campaign aimed at supporting victims of violence, with Odessa joining in. The official launch of the campaign took place yesterday in the City Garden.

City council representatives, organizations focused on preventing domestic violence, and concerned residents participated in the event.

«Violence is a global issue that affects people everywhere. We must raise our voices against it to stop its spread,» - stated the head of the Department of Social Policy, Olena Kytainska.

During the event, specialists from social and psychological assistance provided consultations for those affected by violence and distributed informational materials.

Additionally, flowers were given to women as a symbol of support against violence.

The primary goal of the campaign is to raise public awareness about domestic violence issues and ensure equal rights for everyone.

The campaign is organized by the Department of Labor and Social Policy of the Odessa City Council.
