New Heating Season Dates Announced in Ukraine
The Ukrainian government has announced changes to the heating season dates, now starting on November 1 and ending on March 31. This information was published on the official government website.
According to the amendments to the Cabinet resolution from July 19, 2022, No. 812 «On Approval of the Regulation on Imposing Special Obligations on Natural Gas Market Entities», the heating season for 2025-2026 will officially run from November 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
Previously, the heating season in Ukraine began on October 15 and lasted until April 15, with local authorities having the ability to postpone or end it earlier based on weather conditions, while the state guaranteed stable gas supplies during this period.
