Global Cleanup Day 2025 in Ukraine
On September 20, 2025, Ukraine will participate in the global initiative “World Cleanup Day”, joining millions of activists from 211 countries. Residents of cities, towns, and villages will unite for a common goal: cleaning the environment from trash and promoting a culture of cleanliness. Last year, over 404,000 participants cleaned more than 26,000 locations in 24 regions of Ukraine, including Ukrainians abroad. In the international ranking, Ukraine ranked 11th among 211 participating countries.
In Odesa, the event will take place on September 20, 2025, in Shevchenko Park (near the Shell) at 10:00 AM.
How to participate:
- choose a comfortable participation format by September 20 – alone, with friends, or colleagues;
- clean your favorite place – a park, street, or yard;

Participation formats for Global Cleanup Day 2025:
- Traditional cleanups – cleaning in parks, squares, and residential areas. Participation is allowed individually or in groups, ensuring safety.
- Digital cleanup – removing unnecessary data from devices, emails, and cloud services: letsdoitukraine.org/digitalcleanup
- Sorting recyclables – participating in the project “Find. Sort. Submit” and entering data on the recycling points map: recyclingpoints.org
- Ukrainians abroad can organize cleanups online or offline, thank host cities, and support Ukraine from a distance.
