New Equipment Delivered to Odessa Rescuers
On September 17, during Rescuer's Day, Odessa delivered new firefighting equipment received from international partners to neighboring communities.
Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov congratulated the rescuers on their professional holiday and emphasized the importance of collaboration:
«Today, Odessa has the necessary equipment, but our neighbors often lack such resources. Together we face challenges, rebuild lives, and save people. Two vehicles, transferred from Mainz, will go to the Chornomorsk community, and one to the Fontanska community. The equipment provided by Bristol will also be put to good use».
The transfer of equipment was coordinated with international partners supporting Odessa during the ongoing conflict.
Additionally, the city rescue team of the KU «Rescue-Diving Service» received rescue gear and equipment donated by the charity fund «Reach for the Sky».
