Bristol — A Piece of Odesa's History
«Bristol» is one of Odesa's architectural gems with a history spanning over a century, having welcomed renowned writers, actors, and politicians throughout the years. The building was designed in the neobaroque style by prominent architects Alexander Bernardazzi and Adolf Minkus.
It is the only hotel in the city featuring two presidential suites, alongside exclusive thematic rooms designed by leading global designers such as Fendi, Missoni, and Ralph Lauren. The hotel offers 113 apartments, a spa center with panoramic city views, a ballroom, and three conference halls.
The hotel's revival began in 2002 when the Vertex Hotel Group purchased the abandoned building and initiated an eight-year reconstruction project, investing $17.5 million.
Sadly, all this luxury and beauty suffered significant damage during the Russian missile strike on January 31, 2025. There were injuries among hotel staff, but fortunately, no fatalities were reported.
