New Opportunities for IDPs: Agro-Town in Odesa District
As part of the new initiative «Together for Development: Supporting Communities», the possibility of creating an agro-town for internally displaced persons from Donetsk in the Odesa district is being examined. This was reported by the Odesa Military Administration.
On September 9, the head of the Odesa Military Administration, Oleksandr Hrynchak, met with representatives of the Soledar community from the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region, whose residents were forced to flee due to military actions.
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the «Agro-Town for IDPs» project, which includes the construction of modular houses and the development of agriculture.
The implementation of this project will help create comfortable living conditions for the displaced persons and also support small and medium-sized businesses in the agricultural sector.
The joint implementation of such initiatives aims to open new opportunities for development and enhance community resilience.
