Restoration of the Botanical Garden in Odesa
Volunteers are working to clear debris and save plants at the Odesa National University Botanical Garden named after I.I. Mechnikov. Following a drone attack on the night of September 7, the greenhouses and rare plants sustained damage. Local residents, responding to the director's appeal, are cleaning up glass, removing trash, and gathering plants that can still be replanted.
Together, they have restored water supply to the greenhouses.
The efforts continue. Anyone wishing to assist with the cleanup can come this week from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A community cleanup day is also scheduled for September 13 at 10:00 AM at the address: French Boulevard, 48/50.
