Modern Technologies at the Border with Moldova
In the Odesa region, the Pridnestrovian segment of the border with Moldova is undergoing modernization, with hyperspectral cameras being installed. Concurrently, a bypass road is under construction. This information was shared by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on their official Facebook page.
«This initiative will enable border units to respond more swiftly to developments along the border and enhance the efficiency of their duties. The hyperspectral cameras will allow for real-time monitoring as they operate in both visible and infrared spectrums,» stated the State Border Guard Service.
According to Major General Yuriy Petrov, head of the Southern Regional Administration of the State Border Guard Service, developing such infrastructure is vital for strengthening the nation's defense capabilities.
