Civil Vessel Explosion Near Odesa
Off the coast of Odesa in the Black Sea, a civil vessel was detonated by an unidentified explosive device.
This was reported by the spokesperson of the Naval Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, in a comment to Suspilne.
Pletenchuk noted that no crew members were injured. Currently, an inspection of the vessel is underway, and it is likely that it can continue its journey under its own power.
"We are doing everything necessary to ensure a high level of safety in civil navigation. However, despite this, such incidents can sometimes occur," Pletenchuk stated.
