Fire Incident on Vadim Korzhenko Street: Swift Response
Today, in Odesa, on Vadim Korzhenko Street, a fire broke out in an apartment on the first floor of a four-story residential building.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Emergency units operated at an elevated alert level. Firefighters swiftly extinguished the flames, preventing their spread to other apartments. During the firefighting efforts, rescuers used a ladder and stairs from the upper floors to save nine people. Fortunately, no one was injured. The cause of the fire and the extent of damages are currently under investigation. A total of 10 units of equipment and 38 firefighters were involved from the emergency service, along with one unit of equipment and two personnel from the Municipal Rescue and Diving Service.
