Innovative AI Drone for Ukrainian Forces
The Brave1 team, along with the Third Assault Brigade, has unveiled a cutting-edge drone equipped with artificial intelligence. This technology enables effective strikes against the enemy from distances exceeding 50 km. This was announced by Mykhailo Fedorov, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine.
According to the official, innovations in Ukrainian defense often emerge directly on the battlefield, thanks to ideas from military engineers. The drone, known as the "Dolphin Spider," was developed in the R&D lab of the Third Assault Brigade.
The name "Dolphin" is a tribute to a fallen comrade of the developers. Engineers from the Third Brigade collaborated with Omnitech to create it, while Brave1 helped in adapting the technology for military use.
The "Dolphin Spider" surpasses foreign counterparts in key performance indicators and operates using artificial intelligence algorithms for autonomous navigation, Fedorov noted.
The primary purpose of the drone is to ensure reliable communication for strike UAVs deep within enemy territory. This technology allows Ukrainian drones to appear in unexpected locations for the enemy. The "Trio" is already successfully destroying key military targets of the enemy using the "Dolphin Spider".
Recently, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law to increase the defense and security budget by 412 billion UAH, with 216 billion UAH allocated for the purchase of weapons and military equipment.
