Mandatory Body Cameras for Recruitment Center Employees
Starting September 1, all employees of territorial recruitment and social support centers will be required to wear body cameras to document the delivery of summonses or verification of documents.
This was announced by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal.
"From September 1, all employees of the recruitment centers are mandated to wear body cameras and carry out video documentation during the verification of documents or delivery of summonses. Failure to comply with documentation rules will result in disciplinary action," emphasized Shmyhal.
According to him, this measure aims to ensure transparency and legality in the work of notification groups, as well as to protect the rights of both conscripts and the employees of the recruitment centers.
Currently, the provision of body cameras is around 85%. Efforts are ongoing to procure additional equipment.
