Police Arrest Drug Dealer in Odesa District
Officers from the Odesa District Police Department No. 2 discovered that a 41-year-old resident of the Usatove community was engaging in illegal activities. At the end of January, law enforcement documented the man selling amphetamines, which are restricted substances. The suspect was apprehended while selling a bundle of "goods" on the street near his home. Investigators seized the psychotropic substance and conducted an express test.

As material evidence, the police also confiscated money obtained from the sale of the "goods" and found another bundle with an unknown substance during a sanctioned search of his residence, along with paraphernalia for packaging drugs and other items of interest to the investigation. All seized substances have been sent for examination.
According to the senior investigator of the Odesa District Police Department No. 2, Olena Ditsul, the suspect was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and has been charged with illegal acquisition, possession with intent to sell, and illegal sale of psychotropic substances. Under the sanctions of Part 1, Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the man could face imprisonment for up to eight years. The court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention with the right to bail during the investigation. The investigation continues under the procedural guidance of the Bilyaivka District Prosecutor's Office. Individuals involved in drug trafficking are being identified.
