Illegal Fencing Detected in Tuzlov Estuaries National Park
In the Tuzlov Estuaries National Park, an illegal enclosure for sheep grazing has been found.
Park staff discovered that an unknown individual had seized a part of the natural area and fenced it off to keep their sheep. This was reported by park employee Ivan Rusev.
“An individual with no affiliation to the park administration has taken over a beautiful natural site, enclosing it with fences to prevent his sheep from escaping and others from entering. While he profits from this, his illegal grazing disrupts the natural habitat,” Rusev stated.
The park administration is currently searching for the violator and preparing relevant materials for the police.
He also noted that this is not the first instance of land being seized for livestock grazing, with similar cases recorded in 2018 and 2020.
