Government Covers Tuition Costs for Veteran's Children in 2024/2025
The state will fully cover the tuition costs for the children of defenders for the 2024/2025 academic year.
This was announced by the press service of the "Diia" platform.
"The first batch of 1,000 certificates has already been sent to this year's graduates of bachelor's and master's programs. Expect notifications in "Diia"", the statement reads.
If you have already received a notification, you need to:
Open "Diia" → check your data in the certificate → confirm your agreement with Diia.Signature within 20 days → you will receive a notification about the result later.
The funds from the government will be sent directly to your educational institution, and the institution will reimburse you.
Compensation will be provided to children (up to 23 years old):
- children of fallen defenders of Ukraine;
- military personnel with disabilities due to the war;
- participants in combat actions;
- missing under special circumstances;
- captured due to armed aggression;
- victims of the Revolution of Dignity.
What is needed for compensation:
- ID card or biometric passport in "Diia";
- verified tax number;
- information about the student in the EDBO and the status of the veteran's child of the corresponding category;
- contractual form of education in 2024/2025.
