Online Meeting in Odesa: Plans for Accessibility
Today, May 21, 2025, an important online meeting took place in Odesa, chaired by Natalia Kozlovska, Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure of Ukraine.
City council representatives participated, including: Alexander Filatov, the first deputy mayor of Odesa, deputy mayor Pavel Vugelman, advisor on barrier-free space Alexey Morozov, as well as heads of executive bodies and relevant departments.
The participants discussed the implementation of the project "Movement Without Barriers" and the status of work on the inclusive tram route "North-South."
During the discussion, attention was drawn to the technical aspects of the project, adapting infrastructure for people with disabilities, veterans, and other mobility-impaired groups.
They also addressed inter-agency coordination issues. The project "Movement Without Barriers" is part of the national barrier-free strategy, to which Odesa is actively contributing.
