Destruction of Dangerous Objects in the Black Sea
The Ukrainian Navy has successfully disposed of another mine that was washed ashore near Odessa. The military warns about the ongoing threat of mines in the Black Sea region.
The Armed Forces report the destruction of an enemy sea mine that had drifted to the shores of Odessa. Military personnel took necessary actions to neutralize the hazardous object, ensuring the safety of the coastal area.
«One of the units of the Navy has eliminated another enemy mine that was brought to the Odessa coast by the waves», — stated in the official report. This is not the first instance of mine detection, underscoring the high level of threat.
The military reminds that there is an active mine threat in the Black Sea waters. Recreational areas near the sea can pose serious risks to the lives and health of residents and visitors to the Odessa region.
If you discover suspicious or explosive objects, it is strictly prohibited to approach, touch, or attempt to move or disarm them yourself. In case of such discoveries, it is necessary to immediately inform the appropriate services at 101 or 102 and maintain a safe distance until specialists arrive.
