New Inclusive Route Under Construction in Odesa
Construction has commenced in Odesa for a pedestrian section of the inclusive route ‘East – West’. This is the largest project of its kind in Ukraine under the National Project ‘Movement Without Barriers’.
The route will stretch from Dnipro Street to the Administrative Services Center on Hrushevskyi Street, covering several socially significant facilities.
The project includes lowering curbs, installing ramps, laying tactile tiles, and updating the pavement to meet state building standards.
Work started symbolically on the first day of the Barrier-Free Week, which is celebrated in Ukraine.
The project is being implemented at the initiative of the Barrier-Free Council and with the support of Odesa's Mayor, Hennadii Trukhanov.
