Seismic Activity in Vrancea: New Earthquake Recorded

According to the Romanian National Institute of Geophysics, a 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck at 00:59 in the seismically active Vrancea zone. The epicenter was located at a depth near the city of Buzau, approximately 50-70 km from other towns.

It's important to note that seismic activity in this area is quite common. It periodically affects the southern regions of Ukraine, particularly Odesa.

Currently, there are no reports of damage in the Odesa region.

Recall that on the evening of Sunday, May 11, an earthquake measuring 4.6 was recorded in Romania, which was also felt by residents in the southern part of Odesa region.
