Ukrainian Delegation's Meeting in Turkey
The Ukrainian representatives held discussions with delegates from four countries during their visit to Turkey, coordinating their positions prior to the meeting with the Russian delegation.
This was reported by Andriy Yermak, head of the President's Office.
The Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, the Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, and Yermak are currently on an official visit to Turkey. Earlier, the Foreign Ministry announced the initiation of negotiations between the Ukrainian, American, and Turkish delegations.
According to Yermak, they met with US Special Representative Keith Kellogg, the UK Prime Minister's National Security Advisor Jonathan Powell, French President's diplomatic advisor Emmanuel Bonne, and Germany's Chancellor advisor on foreign policy and security Günther Sauder.
During these meetings, they aligned their positions ahead of the upcoming meeting between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations in Istanbul.
“Ukraine is ready for peace and an unconditional ceasefire. We are also prepared for meetings and negotiations at the highest level. The Ukrainian delegation is in Istanbul today to achieve an unconditional ceasefire – this is our priority,” Yermak concluded.
