Honoring Veterans at the Marathon
On April 15, 2025, during a meeting of the Odessa City Council Executive Committee, Gennady Trukhanov awarded honors to veterans for their participation in the marathon across the Aegean Sea.
The adaptive athletes successfully completed the symbolic route by boats along Mount Olympus, showcasing their strength and skills in the competition.
For their active involvement in promoting adaptive sports among veterans, significant contributions to international sports cooperation, and enhancing Odessa's positive image abroad, the veterans received honorary certificates.
