Greening Odessa: New Trees Planted
On May 8, 2025, the employees of the Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest» along with local residents planted 60 large sophoras. This initiative was dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism, as well as Mother's Day.
Among the planted trees, 40 saplings were placed in T.G. Shevchenko Park, while another 20 were set in Victory Dendropark. All the trees are young, under 10 years old, and have a closed root system, which helps them adapt better to urban environments.
The greening efforts in Odessa continue, with new projects being implemented regularly.
