New Pedestrian Crossings with LED Lighting in Odesa
In Odesa, new pedestrian crossings have been established, now featuring advanced LED lighting. These crossings can be found at the following addresses:
- 55, Sіm'ї Glodan St. (Ilf and Petrov St.);
- 24, Architect St.;
- 44/1, Yevhen Chykalenka St. (Ak. Williams St.) - Officer St.;
- 178/1, Yevhen Chykalenka St. (Ak. Williams St.);
- Mill St. - Mykhailivska St.;
- Bohdan Khmelnytsky St. - Prokhorivskyi Lane;
- 15, Starosinna Square.
The specialists from the KУ “SMEP” continue their work to improve road safety. As of January 1, 2024, there are 75 uncontrolled pedestrian crossings equipped with LED lighting managed by KУ “SMEP.”
These LED lighting systems provide visibility for pedestrians during twilight and nighttime, allowing drivers to notice them more easily on the roadway and significantly enhancing the safety of all road users.
