Maintenance of Green Areas in Odessa
The Municipal Green Trust plays an essential role in the upkeep of Odessa's green spaces. Every day, its workers diligently strive to maintain cleanliness in parks, squares, and other green areas of the city.
In preparation for the winter season, specialists are engaged in planting young trees, shrubs, and other plants. They also carry out tasks such as removing dead wood, pruning hazardous branches, watering young plants, weeding and aerating flowerbeds, mowing grass, and collecting fallen leaves.
Furthermore, daily in parks and squares, as well as on children's and sports playgrounds, workers perform cleaning tasks: sweeping paths, emptying bins, and removing litter. If necessary, specialists also engage in repairing garden furniture (benches, bins, etc.).
