Attention Residents: Safeguard Your Buildings from Unauthorized Interference

Odessa residents are advised to be cautious regarding potential unauthorized interventions in residential systems.

Employees of the "JKS Cheryomushki" utility worked on a request from residents of the building at 10 Geraniyeva St. to drain water from the heating riser before installing new radiators.

During the inspection, it was discovered that the lock on the basement door had been unlawfully replaced by a representative of the "Service Plus" company.

This company is not contracted to service the specified building, complicating access for utility workers to the basement area.

According to the Act of Readiness for the Heating Season, signed together with the "City Heating Supply" utility, the employees of "JKS Cheryomushki" must have free access to this area.

The building is serviced by the "JKS" utility, confirmed by the relevant contract. To carry out urgent work, the utility workers cut off the old lock, installed a new one, and completed all necessary tasks.

"The request has been completed, the radiators have been replaced, and the system is operational. The facility is ready for the 2024-2025 heating season," stated Alexander Musafir, head of section No. 2 of "JKS Cheryomushki".

This is not the first time that employees of former managing companies have engaged in illegal actions regarding the housing stock.

Attention! Such actions are illegal, and residents are asked to report these incidents to their "JKS" or to the hotline 15-01.
