Urban Improvement Efforts in Odesa
Last week, municipal services in Odesa were actively engaged in enhancing the city's appearance. They carried out improvement works on streets, yards, and parks, ensuring that communication systems and public facilities were in proper condition. Specialists from housing and utility services completed a series of tasks upon residents' requests.
The municipal enterprise «City Roads» focused on cleaning bus stops, tidying up assigned areas, and clearing stormwater drains of fallen leaves. Additionally, work was done to clear rainwater drainage systems.
The enterprise «City Green Trust» maintained the cleanliness of green zones, sweeping pathways, clearing lawns, and pruning bushes, as well as removing hazardous trees. Chrysanthemum planting continued, and on Saturdays, gardeners traditionally cleaned the rotunda in the City Garden.
Experts from the «Housing and Utility Services» addressed emergencies in building communications and carried out roof repairs, basement, and attic cleanings based on residents' requests.
Furthermore, last week efforts continued to mitigate the effects of the downpour that caused significant damage on Rybalska Balka Street and adjacent roads.
Weekly, municipal workers conduct sanitary days to improve the appearance of unmaintained areas.
Additionally, the «Service Center» continues to prepare the city’s fountains for the winter season.
