Community Infrastructure Upgrades in Odesa for 2024
In 2024, the public enterprise «Housing and Communal Services Vuzivskyi» in Odesa carried out significant repair works on its buildings.
Works requested by residents included: roof repairs (2640 sq. m), downspout repairs (280 linear m), replacement of window blocks in elevator machine rooms and stairwells (50 pcs.), as well as repairs to machine rooms (2920 sq. m). Additionally, facade repairs (1764 sq. m), heating system repairs (480 linear m), cold water supply systems (432 linear m), drainage systems (528 linear m), and electrical supply systems (623 linear m) were completed. The replacement of light fixtures amounted to 329 units.
Every day, the company's staff maintains cleanliness in the adjacent territories. Cleaning activities are performed twice a day, including sweeping yards and sidewalks, emptying trash bins, and washing garbage containers.
The municipal workers are also responsible for mowing grass, trimming trees, clearing fallen leaves, and caring for flowerbeds and lawns. If necessary, they participate in city-wide cleanup events, addressing illegal dumps and the aftermath of destructive actions.
