The municipal enterprise «City Roads» consistently works to keep the rainwater drainage systems in proper condition.
Experts carry out repairs and cleaning of storm collectors, catch basin grates, rain wells, and specialized hydraulic structures by removing mud, leaves, debris, and reeds.
Cleaning of the rainwater drainage systems in Odesa is conducted continuously according to a schedule throughout the city. During heavy rains, the duty crews of «City Roads» work additionally on the streets. They clear catch basin grates of fallen leaves and debris brought by rainwater, ensuring effective drainage from the city streets.
In the eleven months of this year, the enterprise's workers have completed cleaning operations: 16,887 m of ditches and channels, 4,374 catch basins, 5,273 m of collectors, and 23,999 m of sleeves.
