New Equipment Enhances Urban Infrastructure
The municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» has added new machinery for stump removal.
Recently, the enterprise also acquired an aerial lift with a boom reach of up to 35 meters, exceeding standard aerial lifts.
This equipment has become extremely significant for the city and is already actively in use on the streets of Odessa.
The new lift has expanded the city enterprise's capabilities in tree trimming, especially for tall poplars. It allows for safer and more professional work, enabling workers to be more agile.
«We also witnessed the new stump remover in action. According to city workers, previously it took physically strong workers several days to remove a single stump, depending on the size of the root system. This machine only requires an hour to eliminate a stump with a diameter of up to one meter,» said Odessa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov.
Currently, “Miskzelentrest” is developing a work plan for 2025 for the beautification of city areas using the new equipment.
