Infrastructure Updates in Odessa: 2024 Achievements
The municipal enterprise «Housing and Utility Service «Chornomorsky» has conducted various repair works in buildings under its management in 2024.
A total of 778 resident requests have been processed.
At the request of residents, specialists from the «HUS «Chornomorsky» executed the following works: roof repairs – 510 sq.m; replacement of drainage pipes and household sewage – 365 p/m; electrical installation works (replacement of electrical cables) – 610 p/m; replacement of sewage releases – 108 p/m; repairs of staircases in 8 buildings – 1230 sq.m; pavement repairs in 9 buildings – 94 sq.m; installation of mailboxes in 4 buildings.
Additionally, in preparation for the heating season, current repairs of central heating systems were completed in 167 residential buildings – 340 p/m, and 83 valves were replaced.
Furthermore, the enterprise's cleaners maintain order in the adjacent territories daily. Cleaning is performed twice a day (sweeping yards and sidewalks, emptying trash bins, collecting litter, washing waste bins, etc.).
The utility workers also mow grass, trim trees, collect fallen leaves, and tend to flowerbeds and lawns. They participate in citywide clean-up events if necessary and eliminate illegal dumping sites.
