Enhancements at
Summer in Odessa brings new projects aimed at enhancing beach areas. Numerous entrepreneurs are keen on improving beach territories.
The tenant of 1,250 sq.m in the southern part of "Arcadia" beach, south of the Rotonda, has developed a project for improving the promenade and beach area, seeking approval from the city council.
The northern part of "Arcadia" beach is managed by the municipal enterprise "Odessa Coast".
The proposed improvements for the promenade include:
- creating a pedestrian zone;
- installing a lift for people with disabilities;
- setting up trash bins, benches, and lighting;
- landscaping with decorative pots.
The beach enhancement project includes:
- installing a canopy along the retaining wall of the summer terrace;
- renovating the entrance stairs to the beach area;
- restoring the retaining wall surface;
- constructing a canopy for people with mobility challenges;
- installing showers, changing rooms, and a lifeguard tower.
All project solutions have been approved by relevant departments of the Odessa City Council.
Improvements will comply with local regulations regarding city infrastructure and non-permanent structures.
All works will be fully funded by the tenant with no budgetary funds used.
