Women's Health: New Preventive Opportunities
In the first nine months of 2024, the Family Health Center received 18,305 patients.
During this period, over 5,000 mammographic examinations were conducted, allowing timely detection of 145 breast cancer cases and other diseases.
The Family Health Center has been operating for four years at 8 Zoo Park Street, making it the first outpatient facility in Ukraine dedicated to comprehensive prevention and early diagnosis of breast diseases for women, men, and adolescents.
The center is equipped with a modern Italian mammograph, acquired through the social project «Public Budget». Consultations with a mammologist, gynecologist, and other specialists are available, along with an ultrasound room and an operating theater. The laboratory offers a wide range of hormonal and immunological tests.

Women over 40 are advised to undergo screening mammography annually, even without complaints. Timely diagnosis helps detect precancerous conditions and tumors at early stages, which are successfully treatable.
